Rumball

Rumball is a time of year for starting new traditions and making vociferous declarations for the next year among friends. It is the time for seeking out fellow Mostlandics, raising many a glass to their health, passing out on a couch, and stumbling home in the wee hours of the morning.

December 18 is officially viewed as Rumball Eve as it was on this date in 2004 that the M.O.S.T. opened the first official portal to Mostlandia at the Yake Spot Portal? in Portland, OR. On this date, we received our first 50 citizens and began our work as ambassadors to Mostlandia.

The day subsequent to Rumball Eve is called "The Last Day of Rumball" and is properly observed with a large breakfast of scrambled eggs and red beer (beer with tomato juice).

In concordance with the concept of Mostlandian time?, which is always shifting, Rumball may be celebrated between the 9th and 18th of December of each year. This allows for Mostlandics to revel on weekends or other times more appropriately aligned with their work schedules.
